The nativity is ideal for performance by the whole school, with years 1 to 6 staging individual scenes and everyone coming together for the finale.
Children from EYFS can join in as extra animals, angels and people of Bethlehem, joining in the singing.
For larger junior schools, with several classes in each year, it can be equally successfully staged by Key Stage 1 with parts shared out to suit.
Easy to stage
The easy-learn / easy-play songs span a mixture of styles, from the upbeat and darkly humorous King Herod’s Song, through the lilting journey number Travelling to Bethlehem, to Mary’s moving Lullaby.
There are plenty of speaking parts, so everyone can get involved.
Musical backing tracks available
The nativity is available with musical backing tracks for note-perfect rehearsals and performance. Ideal for when a pianist is not available.
